Vanessa Archer
HOLDEN – Vanessa A. Archer, 80, died peacefully August 19, 2016 at her home. She was born November 19, 1935 in Winn, daughter of Francis G. and Clara (Perkins) Albert.
Vanessa was a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1954. Following graduation she was employed at Raytheon in Waltham, MA. She returned to Maine and was employed as a Registrar for 13 years at EMMC until her retirement. Vanessa especially enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Green Lake, kayaking and bike riding.
Surviving are her loving husband of 39 years, Roger E. Archer of Holden; her two children, Deborah Parker and her companion, Mike Matte of Massachusetts, Paul Parker and his wife, Adriane of Illinois; five grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one stepson, Robert Archer of Clinton; 3 step-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Bower of Bangor; nieces and nephews.
