Obituary for Donna B. Trask (Tozier)

Donna B. Trask (Tozier)
CORINTH – Donna B. Trask, 69, died April 15, 2017, after a brief illness in Orlando, FL. She was born November 14, 1947, in Bangor, the daughter of Walter C. and Marguerite (Graves) Tozier Jr.

Donna and her late husband, Keith, owned and operated Trask Outdoor Power Equipment for 35 years. She was an excellent cook and an immaculate housekeeper, always taking pride in the home that she and her husband shared. Donna was known for the pride and joy she had for her family. She was an extremely loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt; always putting other’s ahead of herself. Donna was happiest when she was around people, and she was always the life of the party. She enjoyed gambling outings with her late husband, Keith. They shared many fond memories of times at Hollywood Casino, and trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Donna was her daughter’s sidekick, taking advantage of every chance she could to spend time with her, whether it was going to her granddaughter’s ballgames, going out for lunch, or simply going for a ride around town. They shared many special vacations together after the passing of her husband, Keith. Those memories will be treasured forever by her daughter, Tammy.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Keith Trask; brothers, Elden Tozier, and Terry Tozier; and special nephews, Brent Skolfield and Troy Tozier. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Trafton and husband Todd of Corinth, and her one and only granddaughter, Brooke Trafton; a brother, Paul Tozier and wife Ruthie of Bangor; a twin-sister, Diana Skolfield and husband Barry of Corinth; a sister, Leatha Wheeler and husband Marvin of Corinth; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many special in-law’s from her late husband’s family. She will also be greatly missed by her dear friend, Patty Stevens, and her special dog, Maggie.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 5-7 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor where a funeral service will be held 3 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 with Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, officiating. Interment will be in Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth, at a date and time to be announced. Those who wish to remember Donna in a special way may make gifts in her memory to her granddaughter’s college fund, 240 Ridge Road, Corinth, ME 04427.
