Obituary for
Paul Francis Funaiole
Glenburn – Paul F. Funaiole, 79, passed away peacefully in his home on July 4, 2017. He was born July 15, 1937, in Townsend MA, the son of Walter and Lillis (Howlett) Funaiole.
After his High School education Paul enlisted into the Air Force. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam during the war. After retiring from the Air Force, Paul continued his career working for the Federal Aviation Administration, retiring in 1992. He was an avid outdoors man, and loved to travel.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his wife JoAnn (Hovdeness) Funaiole of 45 years; his brother, Albert; and grandson, Noah. He is survived by his son, Robert and his wife Jessica; daughters, Beverly LaBay and her husband Rick, Judith Funaiole, Patricia Gleason and her husband Wayne, and Hannah Haona, with whom he lived at the time of his death. He also leaves behind two brothers, Walter and Ron Funaiole; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be private for the family.
