Walter “Sonny” Gray

Walter “Sonny” Gray, 82, passed away May 16, 2017 at his home, after a brief illness. He was born in Dedham, October 17, 1934, son of Walter H. and Helen (Black) Gray.
Sonny still enjoyed driving dump trucks and working on jobs with his sons. He loved his family and spending time with them.
Sonny was a member for 47 years of the Rising Sun Masonic Lodge #71 of Orland.
Surviving are his children, Vicki Gray, Laurie Gray and Tim, Richard Gray and Katherine, Michael Gray and wife, Deb, Andrew Gray and wife, Sheryl; grandchildren, Lynn, Jason, Amy, Sonya, Sierra, Nicole, Tenna, Meagan, Erica, Brent, Matthew and Michael; many great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews; a sister, Laura Horr; a brother, Ward Gray; his beloved dogs, Lucky, Oscar, Cleomier, Gabby, Sparky and Shyann.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2017.
