Diane E. McNerney-Michaud
HUDSON & BANGOR - Diane E. (Moon) McNerney-Michaud, 81, died peacefully March 16, 2018, at a Bangor healthcare facility, surrounded by her family. She was born December 25, 1936, in Ellsworth, the daughter of James and Norma (Spurling) Moon. Diane graduated from Ellsworth High School, Class of 1955. Following graduation, she moved to Hudson, and married Charles McNerney. They raised three children. Diane worked for various shoe manufacturers early in her life. She then worked for Georgia Pacific 10 years until her retirement. Diane was fortunate to find love in a second marriage with Martin Michaud. Diane and Martin were both members of Brewer Eagles Club for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing card games, bingo, and yard games. Diane especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a son, John McNerney; siblings, Doug, Tony, and Rosalee. Surviving are sons, Alfred McNerney and wife, Karen, Raymond McNerney and fiancée, Samantha Burgess; grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Cassidy, Liam, and Landon; great-grandchildren, Tyler, and Evan; siblings, Erdine, Cyntha, and Wayne.The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff of Ross Manor, especially the staff of Engel Place, for the care that they provided Diane over the last few years. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 1 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, with Rev.
